Umbria, the green heart of Italy, is a land of spiritual, philosophical and agricultural vocations.
It is Mother Earth lived, narrated and represented by Saints and great artists, it is the region of small peaceful and silent villages, crystalline waterways and lakes set in the mountains.
Umbria has been a land of truffles for centuries and is home to all the species that can be harvested and marketed in Italy according to national law n. 752 of 16 December 1985. Due to its peculiar orography and the calcareous nature of almost all of the land, Umbria can be considered a large natural truffle ground.
Truffles are gathered everywhere, with the exception of altitudes exceeding 1500m and lake areas. Their great spread explains the strong interest in the crop, which has materialized with the activity of about 6,000 hunters equipped with the authorization card.

È la regione dei piccoli borghi, tranquilli e silenziosi, dei corsi d’acqua cristallini e laghi incastonati nei monti. Qui l’equilibrio tra uomo e natura ha realizzato grandi opere d’arte e si è presa cura dei prodotti di eccellenza che la natura offre, come per il tartufo, il gioiello del sottobosco. L’Umbria è terra di tartufi da secoli, annoverata in scritti che risalgono fino all’Antica Grecia. Per la sua particolare orografia e la natura calcarea della quasi totalità dei terreni, l’Umbria può ritenersi una grande tartufaia naturale.
